McKee & Andrews Insurance Agency had it's
beginning as McKee Insurance Agency, founded in 1969 by Robert D. Mckee.
Robert's son Michael joined the agency in 1979 after first gaining
experience as an underwriter for a major insurance company. In 1993
Robert retired and sold his agency to Michael McKee and Jim Andrews, who
joined the agency as a co-owner. Together, Michael and Jim have over 35
years of experience in the insurance industry.

share the same commitment as Michael and Jim - a commitment to first

| Jim Andrews
Jim started in the insurance
business in 1986 as a trainee agent with Aetna. Jim worked for
several independent agencies as a sales agent from 1986 to 1993.
In 1993 Jim became an owner and partner of McKee & Andrews
Insurance Agency, Inc.
Other types of occupations have included working as a production
department manager, raw materials inventory manager, and sales
assistant, all for a family knitting business. Jim also has
worked as a factory production manager for a manufacturer, a
personnel recruiter, and as an appliance salesman.
When asked what you like about your job now Jim said,”I like the
opportunity to get to know my customers and be able to assist
them in finding solutions for their personal and financial long
term security.”
Jim’s personal business motto is, “Always treat my customers as
I would want to be treated and always do your best!”
Areas of outside interest include: downhill
skiing, motorcycle touring, sailing, photography, and having fun
with my wife, children, and grandchildren. |

Michael R. McKee
Michael started his insurance career in 1976 with
a major insurance company as an underwriter. In 1979 Michael
joined his Father, Robert McKee, as an agent and marketing
manager at McKee Insurance Agency and has been directly involved
in all aspects of the agency.
Areas of outside interest include golf, boating, riding his
Harley and snowmobiling. Michael also has been a longtime member
of the South West Lions Club; an organization dedicated to
service for others. |

| Laurie McKee
Laurie got her start in the
insurance business about five years ago. She began her insurance
career as a part-time office assistant doing filing and helping
with customer service. Over the last year Laurie has increased
her involvement to nearly full-time while still balancing her
time with children and another business.
Other jobs Laurie has had include working at Honeywell for close
to 20 years and working at Home Depot in the Décor Department
helping customers with their decorating needs. Additional duties
at Home Depot included working in the customer complaint
department where Laurie helped satisfy customers and solve
problems.
When asked about what she likes about her job Laurie responded,
“I enjoy learning more about the Insurance field. Our Agency is
like a small family who believes that the customer is the utmost
of importance and always comes first. I try to attend to the
customers needs in a timely fashion, and work in having a
satisfied customer.”
Laurie’s other activities and interests are enjoying the warm
weather, being at home in her pool, biking, hiking, or going up
to her parents’ lake home with the children. Winter months
preferably not below zero, she loves to go sliding and
skiing with her kids. She also has a love
for horses. With her spare time Laurie does volunteer work. |

Lynda Stoddard
Lynda began her insurance career, after high school, eight years
ago starting out as an entry level file clerk. Since that time
Lynda has gained experience and received promotions resulting in
her current position as Commercial Lines Customer Service
Representative. Lynda joined McKee & Andrews Insurance Agency,
Inc. in 2002 as Commercial Lines CSR.
Lynda enjoys getting up in the morning and coming to work and
looks forward to talking with the customers. Lynda’s motto is
“The customers comes first!”.
Areas of outside enjoying the outdoors, gardening, and her five
year old Border Collie/Sheltie mix, dog Gracie. |

| Jolene Morrissette
Jolene started her career in insurance in 1986 as
a part time file clerk in an independent agency in Big Lake
Minnesota. She soon discovered that she had a natural interest
in learning more about the industry and earned her insurance
license to sell insurance.
Other types of occupations have included working on the other
side of the insurance industry for an insurance company in the
processing department.
When asked what you like about your job now Jolene said,
“Customer service is first & foremost with me. I enjoy helpings
our customers get the answers to their insurance questions
and/or concerns. I also like the fact that I have the confidence
of my supervisors to do my job.
Jolene’s business motto is, “To do the best job I can do” and
“If I don’t know the answers, I’ll try and find them”
Outside interest include: vacationing in Mexico, going to
auctions, gardening, and a new interest with ice fishing with
her husband Jim. She also enjoys get-togethers with her children
and grandchildren. |
